Legend Related To Majorda BeachApart from its magnificent beauty, Majorda beach is also known for its historic and mythological significance.A Legend says that Majorda was the very beach where Lord Rama was kidnapped, during his childhood. This legend further goes that after few years, Lord Rama has once again visited the beach when he was in search of his wife Sita. During his visit, he came to Cabo-de-Rama, which lies at the southern end of the beach. This amalgamation of nature's beauty and mythology has enhances the attrACTION of the Majorda. |

By Air
The Dabolim Airport (26 Km), located at the vicinity of the beach provides connectivity through air. Pre-paid taxis can be hired from the airport to reach the beach.

Even Margao Railway Station and bus stand is located very close to the beach. Taxis and autos are available outside the railway station and bus stand for communicating to the beach. Trvellers can even access to the beach by hiring taxis from Panaji (37 km). |

Majorda beach is located to the south of Cansaulim and north of Betalbatim. It is just 37 km from Panaji, the state capital.
