• The 17311 Chennai Vasco Express - is the best option available for passengers to commute between Chennai to Goa. The train departs Chennai Central (MAS) at 14:10 hours and covers 1070 km to reach Vasco Da Gama (VSG) at 13:00 hours next day. The train operates only once a week on Fridays.

Airlines flying into Goa from Chennai include Spicejet, Jet Konnect, Air India, IndiGo,Kingfisher Red , Jet Airways and Kingfisher Class. There are quiet a few direct flights from Chennai to Goa offered by Spicejet and Air India that take 1h 50m and 1h 15m respectively to travel from Chennai to Goa. However, there are a number of flights routed via Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore that take upto 8 hours to finally reach Goa.
